We have lived here for a year and after the first month the a/c compressor went out. It took them 3 months starting in February to get us a new one.NO HEAT FOR THREE MONTHS! The next problem came from a water leak in my bedroom wall that took another two weeks to fix (not counting the mold build up that was left in my carpet padding that still has yet to be fixed). The most recent problem started early in September. There is a leak above my shower from the upstairs neighbors bathtub. It runs down my wall into my carpet and on the ceiling above my bathroom. For this reason there is more mold build up and I haven't been able o use my bathroom for quite some time. We then told management that we were leaving when our lease is up and they said we have to pay a $100 move out fee and wait 45 days after we move out to get last months rent back! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!

I've lived here a year as well and we have been through 3 management companies, 2 managers, 8 staff members and constant problems. The only reason I am still here is because I can't afford to move. When I see people in the office looking at moving in, it takes everything I have not to yell, "NO! DON'T DO IT!!!"

Please Please call the corporate office to make your complaints---enough is enough of the problems at Plum Creek--when i call the corporate office and have pictures of the problem--(that's unfortunate you have to go thru this long measure) THINGS CAN GET DONE FASTER--and no one should have to pay to get out of their lease if the property or problem is not taken care of--DO NOT PAY EXTRA FOR PLUM CREEKS PROBLEMS!!

Wow, sounds like the issues I had too! We had constant problems with the a/c, water heater, and leaks from the ceiling. Management was unresponsive. We moved at the first opportunity. You shouldn't have to pay for any damage caused by water leaks that you reported to them. That's there problem! Mold is a serious issue, there must be someone you can call to report this.
