The good:
Location- doesn't get much better than southpark for convenience to everything. it's what sets this community apart. Everything is right at hand.
Landscaping- they spend lots of effort keeping the place looking nice
Quiet
Safe
Decent facilities- gym has older equipment, but it works
Maintenance- always prompt, always addresses the problem
The bad:
Price- This is the number one drawback to living at this place. You are paying for the location. The rates are very high and the rates change daily (before you sign the lease), almost arbitrarily. The utilities also ran high. The apts run on gas heaters, so be prepared to spend a lot in the winter, as the units aren't well insulated. For the price, you could get a nicer, newer unit elsewhere, but you will give up the location. Oh sure, there are 'upgraded' units available, but be prepared to see a huge premium for those.
Older rooms- The place is starting to show wear and tear, but the maintenance crews do a good job keeping it up.
Conclusion- If you like the location and don't mind the price, check it out. Also note that the prices fluctuate daily. This place was decent overall, no major complaints.
