Preserve at Ballantyne Commons: The Decline
From: TheOreosDate posted: 6/23/2009
Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2009
We have lived at the Preserve at Ballantyne Commons at since Jan 2005. When we first moved in property was absolutely wonderful, well maintained and beautiful. A year and half after of living there, the property manager left and went to another property, this was the start of the decline. The current management team does not care about the property, only about the bottom line and staying within budget, which I suppose that means forgetting about safety. There is a side door with a broken lock that leads from the pool to the workout room that has been broken for 3 months. Outside storage rooms are broken into and they don't report it to the police. I also have neighbors that walk their dogs and don't pick up after them and neighbors that cook stinking smelling food, opens their front door and stinks up the breezeway, they do nothing about this. We are moving at the end June 2009 into a house. In the past I have recommended Preserve at Ballantyne Commons to co-workers and friends moving to Charlotte, I will not recommended this property to anyone else. The Preserve at Ballantyne Commons is giving the Ballantyne a BAD name!
