Promenade Park Apartments

Wonderful Place to live From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 2/6/2008 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008   I moved to Charlotte and knew very few people - I worked with a real estate agent who directed me to several other apartment complexes before I happened onto Promenade Park myself. My move here was extremely stressful and Christine and the others were gems. I had some challenges but my assessment of a problem is if nothing is done to help with the problem and the office and maintenance staff here always helped out. I had no problem with paper work ... everything was well taken care of. I had the following issues: 1. The apartment was not cleaned by the professional cleaners well but maintenance came and fixed that. 2. Noisy neighbors - but afterall we are in an apartment. The courtesy office handled that situation beautifully. 3. Three weeks to fix the air conditioning in the fitness room. 4. Teenagers by the pool - but afterall it is an apartment complex. 5. The back units can be noisy on the patios and balconies due to the proximity of I-485. On the plus side: 1. Relaxed environment - reminds me of the places in Florida. I'm not sure what "rules" the people are referring to in another post but the rules I have seen are to ensure that you don't interfere with others quiet enjoyment of the facilities (for example, contrary to MOST neighborhoods in Charlotte, the pool does not close at night .... they just ask people who use it late at night to remember that there are people living beside the pool ...) 2. Country club atmosphere 3. Supportive staff. 4. All of the carpets in my unit were replaced prior to my moving in. I have never had issues with parking around my place - in addition to the attached garage there are always at least 5 parking spots around my unit. And no, it is not a cheap place to live but you get what you pay for.
