When I first moved in the complex it was well maintained and staffed. As time went on the Theater room was rarely working, the air conditioning in the fitness room was not repaired for over 3 months (in the middle of a summer heat wave) and one of the maintenance workers was out sick and not replaced for months. All the amenities that were offered when I first rented, slowly and consistently started to disappear.
The garbage pick up was no longer supplied. Also another main attraction to this complex was the pet sitting service while you were away. Well after trying it out for the 2007 Thanksgiving weekend we retured home to what my son described as a dog poop land mines. In stead of walking the dogs our kitchen garbage can was used to dispose of the few piles of waste that was picked up. If the dogs had been walked twice a day as scheduled there would not have been a need for the waste to be disposed of in the house nor would the dogs have had to used the carpet which they later wanted to accuse me of causing the soiling. A teenager in the neighorhood, Corey D. did an extremely professional job the adult staff at Promanade was incapable of handling!...
Finally one evening water started to flood through the third floor ceiling and then floor of the town home, we repeatedly called the service number all night. My sons both out of desperation went and knocked on one of the women in charges door (Jennifer ) to get help she said someone would be there, no one showed up for over 12 hours and we were left to manuer thru a flooded floor that led to all our bed rooms. Did they clean up the mess' No! Did they offer an apology for the lack of attention. No I was later told that the air conditioner pan in the attic had not been maintained'
The service at Promenade Park took a serious downturn after the leave of the Head manager Shanna. I should have moved then. Never the less I could no longer tolerate the inadequcies of the remaining women in charge, so I quickly started to look elsewhere for better and more professional services.
To add insult to injury after I moved out I was accused of ruining the carpet, the carpet seam was never secured properly when it was installed and when the carpet was shampoed after their pet sitting blunder, it shrunk. I feel I should have been compensated for the poor condition they left my apt. after their pet sitting blunder.
I am much happier now that I am out. Renting was not for me at least not under their managment.

I think this is a vary rare condition. We have never had a problem - ever!! Their staff has always been helpful and we have always had service right away. Shawna was a great manager - Jennifer is great too. Our refrigerator went when we were away and they not only came and helped us clean it up, they paid for the groceries we lost. We do miss the Wed. trash pick up, but it is NOT a problem to take it to the dumpster. It was a truly nice service. We never used the pet sitting - we take our pet to Charlotte Kennels where we know how they will be taken care of. I can see using their service for an afternoon, but not for days. I think this person is probably a complainer anyway. This is one of the very best places to rent. People have more problems with "associations" in their homes they own than we do here at Promenade Park.

This is not a rare condition. I could not agree more with the review! I am no complainer...I have much better things to do with my time, this person is spot on!

I couldn't agree more with anonymous 2 and 3... I'm pretty sure anonymous 1 is on of those rude hags who works in the office... Probably Christine!!!! She is very rude and has a smart mouth. Neither her or Shannon has personalities and they shouldn't be allowed to work with the public. They should be behind a cubicle somewhere doing paper work! I've had nothing but problems since I lived their! They charge for everything on top of the ridiculously high rent! And if they don't get a new staff and change their charge policies for so forth and so forth I don't know how this place will survive. Within the year that I lived here I saw so many people move out... Hmmmm I wonder why???
