I have been living at Promenade for almost a year. I rarely hear any noise from adjoining apartments. I feel safe when I walk my dog at night and the neighborhood is beautifully kept up. Yes - you can hear I-485 but you can't see it due to thick banks of trees. You might want to keep that in mind when selecting your apartment. The staff is always reliable and friendly.
I would love to live here forever but it is one of the most expensive apartment complexes in the area. I am hoping to find something even half as nice in order to save some $$$.
BTW - they created additional parking spaces in the more crowded areas without damaging the look of the property.

Stay away from the pool also. LOUD RUDE NEIGHBORS AT ALL HOURS OF THE DAY AND NIGHT. And buildings are not insulated or built well as it is a tunnel of sound from garages up the stairs or outside up the stairs. Walls are thin but not always hear neighbors - depends how respectful the neighbors are but this is with most complexes. I think it is the luck of the draw. Office staff is great but didn't do anything for the pool noise last summer. Apartments are beautiful but expensive. With exception of pool we enjoyed our time here.
