I moved from Texas and found this place according to the ratings in this website.
On May 19th 2005 my car "Honda Accord" was stolen. Just vanished into thin air. No glasses around ie not a break in. I guess they were watching before doing it.
But the management people are very nice. I have had no problem with them.

If it wasn't a break-in and there was no glass anywhere, how do you figure they stole your vehicle? Do you suppose they were kind enough to sweep up after themselves?

hmm. car theft seems to be a common complaint. they could have taken the car with the key in the ignition while the person turned away for a minute or while the window was rolled down somewhat.
i believe you.

leaving your vehicle unattended with keys in the ignition is now punishable by $50 fine per CMPD order. I should know-I got a ticket for it. If you're ignorant enough to leave your car running while you are not in it then you deserve to have your car stolen. Why not just leave a key to your apartment under the mat for them as well? Idiot.

Actually Honda cars are infamously easy to pop the door locks and get into. If you know what to do next, you have a car. Give 'em a break. Slamdunk, you must be an idiot (by own admission) since you're the one with the $50 fine.

Rocky 25, You ever heard of 'learning from stupid mistakes'? Lest you are perfect, you should have encountered this already. And ANY car is infamously easy to pop the locks on. It doesn't matter if you drive a Honda, Buick, Acura, Toyota, Nissan or a tank. If a burglar has your car on that night's menu, there isn't much short of catching him in the act and killing him that will stop him from succeeding. Suffice to say that it is never the apartment office's fault that your car was broken into. Crime is positively everywhere, and trying to blindly point a finger at those who have absolutely no legal responsibility whatsoever to your person or personal belongings is childish and asinine. Read over the lease you signed. It tells you there that any apartment community you live in assumes no responsibility for you or anything you own. Why would they?
