I would love it here more --if there were no pets or young renters

I have lived in Providence Court for the past 20 months. No apartment complex could be perfect or please everyone. I have never had an issue with maintenance fixing something in my apartment. They come fairly quick and at all hours. Ok, the tenants on the other hand could be problematic. I had two neighbors who were clearly druggies, who no longer live here. Every complaint were answered and noise levels regarding those tenants were taken care of.
I do have a nasty neighbor who allows her little dog to urinate outisde her door. Yes, the nasty heifer opens her door and let her small pooch wandered out. I'm about two steps from giving her a beat down. Management is in the process of handling my complaint. Many times, tenants do not pick up their dog feces and this is an eyesore. There are tons of cats running throughout--all in the sewer lines and trash bins. However, there are people who feed put out cans of cat food; they too help contribute to the cats nuisance. Garbage and recycling bins often overflows, but this is usual with the size of the complex.
There are large discrepancies in rents for the same comparable apartment or larger. It all depends on when you move in and what specials they have. I have seen 3 bedrooms cheaper than my 2 bedroom.
I don't have an issue with pools or safety. I chosed to live in the back of the complex for the peace of mind. My only view are the trees separating the complex from Providence High School, which limits my sunlight. But I rather have a peace of mind. The gym is rather small for my taste so I go to an outside gym. I don't like to feel stifle in small spaces. Plenty people do like and uses the gym.
I picked this complex because its next door to the school my daughter attends. I plan on moving out after she graduates in 2010 into my own home. Even with all the negatives, I still think Providence Court Apartments are nice and I have no problem recommending someone to live here.
