As a staff member of Providence Park and one who would not normally respond to the postings on this site, I believed it important to respond to this particular complaint. The current situation with this resident is in regards to our required notice-to-vacate. We are one of many property management companies that require a 60-day notice to vacate if a resident plans on moving at the end of their lease. This particular resident did not give proper notice and is therefore upset with us for holding him/her responsible through the required notice. I do agree with this resident that when dealing with a legal document, it is important to read, understand and agree with all of the terms of the document before signing. In this situation, with the lease having been signed, the resident consequently agreed to the terms of the 60-day notice requirement. In response to this residents claim that we have ourselves written or have had our friends write our positive postings, this is simply not true. At Providence Park, we strive to not just meet but to exceed everyone's expectations. The positive postings on this site are an example of the real and true opinions of and by our happy residents.

I live here also, and this is a lie, I don't know the individual who wrote this complaint, but I do know of a couple of others that this have happen to therefore I am very much persuaded to believe the complaint. Management do nothing but lies. There job is to fill units.....

You can never make everyone happy no matter how hard you try, there are always going to be people that are never satisfied or that want you to go outside the policies and guidelines that we adhere to. We have to treat everyone as equal and not give special treatment or break the rules for one person. I find most people that are disgruntled are so because they do not read the lease and agreements they sign thoroughly, then get upset when we do not give them special treatment they demand. Obviously the Marsh reputation stands for itself, we have been in business in Charlotte for decades and we have several properties in Charlotte and the reason they are all sucessful is because of how well they are all run. We care about all of our residents and treat them all equally and with respect. We appreciate all of our residents and bend over backwards so that everyone has a positive and comfortable living environment. This person who blogged before has a vendetta and has blogged numerous times, what can you do? My advice is read your leases, read your addendums, know the rules and what is expected of you when you sign into a contract and realize it is a contract and you will be held to it otherwise there would be chaos. In order for all of our communities to run smoothly and fairly there are certain guidelines that we have to stick within. However none are severe or out of the ordinary.

Good diplomatic way of defending your self.., You cannot provide false information during the check out in writing and later take $300 from my pocket. How ever I was just sharing my experience to the users rest is left to them and they will reliase as soon as they join the community.
