Here's to say, YOU CAN'T WIN THEM ALL! Quote: If one person has a great customer service experience with any given company, he/she will tell at least 10 friends/people. If one person has a bad customer service experience of any variation, he/she will tell 100 friends/people. Thank you apartment ratings :)
The community has had incidents with break-ins, however, if the zipcode is researched, one will find that zips from local areas have comparable crime ratings. When there's million dollar homes less than a quarter of a mile away, break-ins aren't uncommon. No one, no where can guarantee safety... not in a church, or prison, etc, etc... My daughter turned 18 when I renewed my lease in January, and she had to get a criminal background check. At first I was appalled as I know my daughter isn't a criminal, but, then I thought that I should consider that a way of informal protection of our safety with regards to my surroundings.
Maintenence has made a drastic improvement. Over the past 5 years that I've lived at this address, my work requests have never been taken care of so fast. The office staff even follows up with me within a couple of days after I make my requests to make sure work was completed. Wow! Half the time in the past I was lucky if the office even reported my request. My AC has went out every summer and this company replaced my unit! I truly feel things are better because the new company, Greystar, that manages this property is the best of all companies that have ran this place. I've seen 3 companies thus far. I've stayed here b/c of the schools, and location, AND, b/c my apartment is huge! HELLO, this place is older so everything isn't brand new. If you want to pay a crap price, you'll get a crappy place, but, here- you get way more bang for the buck.
The staff is friendly and goes above and beyond to serve even the most unexceptional and picky people. This staff is fairly new, but, the office is always booming and the the employees are always busting their rears! This place used to have sooo many empty apartments, and now it's so full of new faces. Best of all, new faces of people that are hard workers, families and even retirees that need a place to call HOME.

Obviously the person who wrote this works here. This place is HORRIBLE! I moved in less than a year ago, and me and my husband are looking forward to our lease coming up so we can move far away from here! My car has been broken into twice. There is loitering at all hours of the night. Young kids are running around everywhere with no parents in sight, even at 11pm at night! I do not feel safe here at all! My apartment is beside the office, which makes it even worse. The staff does not care about any of this. I have called to complain numerous times and nothing is ever done about it. If you have children I STRONGLY recommend not moving here!! The price may be nice for the size home that you get, but it is not worth your safety!!!!! We have had 2 fires in the last 2 months. Need I say more!!!

Safety is definitely a issue. I personally know of three pizza delivery drivers, who have had encounters with armed robberies. One of the drivers was severly beaten with a baseball bat and robbed of money and his pizza's. These incidents ocurred in October of 2007. No this is not a safe area at all. Management could care less, as they were contacted immediately to be informed of incidents. I do not believe that there are background checks being performed on residents. It is also a fact that other incidents have ocurred in the last two years, where drivers of pizza companies were robbed at gun point and carjacked.

PS is NO differentfrom HW now=so knock it off. The Property once upona time was very nice, this was about 10 yrs ago, all HELL broke loose when you lowered the rent-SOMEONE wanted a higher occupancy, look what that caused PS to be now. Raise the rent again, stick with the rehabs and above all have enough Maint. guys to cover that property. It can be turned around. YES, I was an employee a long timeago. and I also lived there for many years when it was beautiful, when everyone there both staffand residents took pride in their community, when the drive in was filled with tulips. After all these years it's Still in a good location with great sq.ft. AS far as the shopping center is concerned, people get your facts before you start assuming and posting.
