Nice, spacious, and relaxing. But watch your step when it snows!!

Archstone is located in an excellent spot. Great school district, nicely landscaped and bargain priced. However, I must that I am very shocked at Archstone's lack of interest in sanding and/or salting THEIR property during last week ice storm. The walkways, stairwells, and parking areas were a complete mess! The thing that really ticked me off was watching their maintanence staff zoom around the parking lot performing "doughnuts" in their buggies during the icestorm. They could have been putting sand and salt down! I guess because none of the other apartment communities in Charlotte remove snow and ice on their property, Archstone does not either. I am sure the leaf blowers could have stopped by and helped to remove the ice, right'
