Could be better, could be worse

I'm pretty divided about my stay there. For the first year the maintainenece and office staff were pretty decent and things were done quickly. As my time wore on, it seemed the office staff were beginning to get less friendly and unhappy. I walked in one day to see the manager ripping the head off on of the office staff. Had my A/C not died for the third time in a month in the middle of summer, I might have been more sympathetic.
There were several crime problems, my car had been broken into, along with a couple of others. Apparently, there was at least one assault as well. Never really felt unsafe, however.
Poor insulation will ensure nice and high heating and cooling bills, and the old appliances will do nothing for your electricity bills. The apartments were pretty sound proof, so thats a plus.
Watch it though, as the trend seemed to be increase the rent and decrease almost everything else but the landscaping. Be really careful if there's an ice or snowstore, they tend not to salt or sand the concrete.
You could do much better, but there are worse.
