Yo!

Beware: Rent Keeps Going Up!

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2006

I have lived here for three years and the rent has continued to increase at an alarming rate each time we renew. I live on the third floor and don't hear noise from any of my neighbors directly connected to my unit, however there are a lot of kids who live here and it can be very noisy outside at times.

The appliances in the apartment are okay, nothing special. It doesn't look they have ever actually painted the walls and the "new" carpet is awful! It had to be the cheapest carpet available installed by the lowest bidder. It bunches up and when they send someone out to fix it they only succeeded in making it worse. In all of our closets and pantry the carpet is bunched up and looks like a mess.

The leasing office is very nice and helpful, when you are initially moving in and up until it's time to renew your lease. Then they raise the rent by 10%! They don't seem so nice then.

Also, I no longer feel safe living here. My husband's car has been broken into three times since we moved here and just recently some jerk side swipped my car in the parking lot--didn't leave a note. We've encouraged Management to request police patrols but they don't care and actually said it wasn't their problem! The quality of people moving in has really decreased over the last three years, despite rate increases.

Needless to say, as soon as our lease is up we're moving.
