Be aware of the pros and cons From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 9/19/2007 Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2005   Positives: close to uptown Charlotte,cheap rent,close to the busline(just in case your car gets stolen or if you don't have transportation) Negatives: My car was stolen and broken into twice, guns being fired inside the complex, other neighbors cars were stolen also ranging from Hondas,Cadillacs, Lincolns, Lexuses, and Nissans. I was there for almost 4 years so I saw and heard alot. Maintenance of the apartment as the years went by got terrible- meaning mold in my closet and on the ceiling and they would not replace the AC unit which made my utility bill very high in the summer. I complained and complained for the last 2 years of my stay and the staff never replaced it. I was very fed up in 2005. I was blessed to land a higher paying job,payoff my car& so I gladly did not renew my lease. ****I only recommend this place to those who don't have cars, or if you have a short term goal in mind and you are trying to save money. Get in and go. Also, live on the 3rd floor if you decide that way you can hopefully dodge a bullet. If you have a nice car, it will probably get broken into, vandalized, or stolen.
