Be Realistic If You Move Here...

Riverbirch Phase 1 is not so bad - I've been here six months and have not experienced anything that I did not expect. Yes, the appliances are 23 years old and yes, the buildings are more beaten up than a brand new community. Some of the neighbors lean on the looney side and some will remind you to keep your doors locked up. However, this community is located on a nice little stream and on the other side of that stream is a forest of trees. Ducks, geese and turtles occupy the waters and the forest fills with crickets and birds who manifest a beautiful nature backdrop. The location itself is very convenient as well. I have spent as much as $3,500/mo for rent in some of the finest locations in the country and experienced the very same problems reported in these reviews... violence, theft, slow response to maintenance, etc. If you are weary of such things, you need to consider buying a farm house and learn your own handy-man skills. Riverbirch is what it is... an old, not quite charming, but cozy place to live for people who do not expect gold for the price of tin.
