I been here for almost 2 years and can't wait for my lease to be over to move out to a more safe community.
The 1st year my roommate's car got broke in twice...and just a few months ago my apt got broke in and got everything stolen, tvs,laptops,money,everything... the manager answer was that i have to pay for renters insurance b/c there's nothing they could do about my stuff!!! like if im not paying a high rent to live on a safe place...LAST NIGHT my roommate went to pick up the mail around 7pm and 2 black guys jump on him to take his wallet and beat him up until he was unconscious, he spent all night at the hospital and who's gonna be responsible for this..nobody!!! the management is so cheap and dont care about the safety of the tenants, they do not want to affort for a private security 24hr..now what about all the money they collect from us... a lot of apts here have been broken and yet they dont wanna pay for a police to patrol the community.

I don't know if this person is telling the truth or not! I've lived in phase II since it was built...long time. I'm a single female and have not had any problems. It's true they change property managers like every other month, but I still believe this apt. complex is a good place to live. It's location is convenient to the light rail and shopping centers. NO place is 100% secure and safe. To lessen your chance of being a victim...be alert and lock your freakin doors. Now, there are a few problems... if you live on the first floor you can hear everyone coming and going. The walls are thin as hell. You can hear your neighbor's toilet flush, the garbage disposal, dishwasher, etc. I recommend you pick the third floor if you move in. I'm leaving, but only because they want me to pay same rent while others are coming in for a lot cheaper!!!

Why couldn't the person just say 2 GUYS? They had to say 2 BLACK guys. Please don't make it seem like it is only black people that jump people. You have to be mindful of your surroundings where ever you go. I lived in this neighborhood and someone broke into my car 5 days after i moved there, and the police did nothing. There are break-ins, crime and drama no matter where you go. Was I upset about my car, most definetly, but it could have happened anywhere. Always be safe.
