My roommate and I moved in this apt in January of 08, and it has been a pain ever since. When we first moved in, they handed us a key that did not open the apartment door. The maintenence men had changed the locks without letting the rent office know. When we finally got in the apartment the lights could not be turned on because the meter to the apartment was stolen. Duke power performed an investigation to find out where the meter on our apartment came from,they told us the address connected to that meter came from the laundry room. They had to contact the office, to asked them about the meter. We had to wait for Duke power to get a new meter to our apartment.
We didn't get to see our apartment either, we just saw a paper floor plan.
The maintence staff is lazy, it took them four months to fix a hole in the wall, light fixtures, exposed wires to a heating unit that is no long operative. The central air unit is located inside the bedroom closet. This takes away from the closet space. The unit has leak water, and flooded our childrens floor 4 times, before they came to find out that there was a hose loose. The units were upgrade to central air. Not to mention, spiders, bugs, ants, but NO ROACHES.
There have been a couple of cars including ours broken into. The police did not come to the house to get our report. That is how common these breakins are.
Crawford Collins (Sandhurst Apartments) have two complexes that we know of, the same maintence men work on both sights. So! If Sandhurst maintence is sorry; You know the other complex is too. Just remember the name Crawford Collins Management.
