I love my apartment, and the amenities (pool, fitness center, computer lab) are fine, but the management company is absolutely awful. they're friendly, but they generally don't give a crap about their residents. The "secure" complex has had either broken parking garage gates (anyone can get in) or broken doors (you don't need to scan your keyfob to get in) for about 8 of the 12 months i've lived here. my car was towed from the parking garage when it was rightfully parked (and the parking gates were broken) and management did nothing about it. i thought it had been stolen. i didn't have to pay for it, but i had to waste my entire lunch break and the lunchbreak of a friend to drive 20 miles to the ghetto to retreive it. i didn't even get an apology. My friend had her storage unit broken into by the fire department and it was left open for 3 days before she eventually found it that way. again, no apology. i couldn't afford to renew my lease because they raised rent over $300/month after my first 12 months ran out. it's not even in a good location...it's a pain the the ass to get uptown from there yet it's about $300-$500 a month more expensive than anywhere uptown. DON'T LIVE HERE. go to Post Gateway or Post Uptown. they're in great locations and are cheaper and all amenities and floorplans are similiar.
