I stopped by the leasing office at The Springs at Steele Creek to check on availability and prices. ------ who was very nice to me helped me. I am not sure if this is the same person someone else referred to in a previous posted review. However, she was nice to me and seemed very helpful (maybe until I move in). Anyway, I would like to give people the benefit of the doubt. She was very nice to me. She showed me the Pebble ($665.00) which I thought was a cute apartment but was very small, especially the living room. Then we looked at the Hilton ($720.00), which has a den. Here's my take:

Likes:
. The sense of openness in the living room.
. The den.
. The wine rack above the refrigerator.

Dislikes:
. The horrible reviews on this Website.
. The small refrigerator with almost 6 inches space between its sides and the kitchen wall/counter.
. The huge fireplace (where available), which leaves no place to mount a Plasma TV at eye level.
. The dark brown carpet in some older units. It makes the whole apartment look dark.
. I hated the bathroom. Too many doors, odd layout, etc.
