There are some very good things about this place and some not so good.

Pros:
1. Gated community - gate actually WORKS well.
2. K-9 Security unit doing rounds every night since the past 2-3 months. Makes me feel safe.
3. Tennis Courts
4. An OK Fitness room and pool.
5. Maintenance staff is very friendly.
6. Most of the office staff is friendly.
7. Very close to NC-49 and I-77
8. Apartments have huge windows. Lots of sunlight.
9. Ample parking. Good landscaping.

Cons:
1. Expensive. On top of that rent goes up every time I renew. The rent they charge for renewals is not justified. However for some reason they always have 'Special Offers' for new comers - Such a scam!
2. I have heard from people that residents are not being alerted about House break-ins and thefts. I have usually felt pretty safe here myself though.
3. Street Lighting is alright as compared to some cheap places nearby - but still can be improved in certain sections.
4. They should have more interactive occasions for residents.

Actually, the gate is often broken and left up, making it unsafe, and th fitness room's only piece of non-cardio equipment has been broken every time I tried to use it in the last 6 mo (it was cheap, so what do you expect?). The landscaping is only average. K-9 security was added because people had a fit after several break-ins, not proactively provided. The office staff (Tyler) is friendly; however, the rest of them are often not customer friendly, and some of them seem to think they are too good to actually help someone. They are sorely in need of understanding the concept of customer service. I will agree that parking is adequate (not ample), landscaping is average and the apartments themselves are attractive. The maintenance staff are very helpful and friendly. Overall, though, these things don't make te apartment acceptable, customer service and safety do!
