I have really enjoyed living here for the past couple of years. I don't know what people are complaining about. The location is great. Its close to downtown, southpark, the airport, and a whole lot more. I have not experienced any problems with noise, but I am someone who is not scared to talk to my neighbors if there is a problem. I just say be nice to your neighbors and they will be nice to you. As far as dog poop, watch where you are walking. Its a natural thing. You can only get so much accomplished with phone call and fines. The price is reasonable. Yes, every year my rent has gone up, but itsn't that inflation' The location is great and convienant so thats why you pay more, b/c more people want to live here. Crime happens everywhere. You have to look out for yourself, if not whos going to'' I have seen a rent a cop car out here at night. So I think that effort is being made. And not to sound rude...but if you don't like it here MOVE!! That will just make room for one more neighbor I can get to know and hang out with.

I have to wonder if this was posted by staff, since the comment about if you don't like it MOVE was made...I have lived here a couple of years as well, primarily because it is a good location in proximity to airport, I-77, and uptown. I also just don't want to move (what a pain!) until I'm ready to buy. Having said that, however, I will say that there are a LOT of problems here. The noise is terrible, if anyone hasn't experienced it, I'm afraid their loud partying may be the cause of it! The parking gates are always broken, and yes they do get fixed, but what gives with that? I think one issue is how long they take to open, have had several friends who visit get frustrated by that. There are definitely major safety issues including car break-ins and other types of crime. Staff can be rude or pleasant, depending I suppose on their mood. Tyler is great--the other staffers including the manager, not so much. Rent goes up every year, and there doesn't seem to be any loyalty to those who have lived here a while, even if they have been outstanding residents. Other apt complexes will give long-term renters a break. I am now paying $840 for a 2 BR when I feel confident I could move out and then move back in for MUCH less. There were no cops on site for quite a while, and evidently due to the crime and noise level, they had to put some back on staff. I think there has been some effort made to address the MANY problems, but not nearly enough. The root of the problem seems to be management.
