I guess none of my neighbors had home phones, because they were always outside my door sitting on the steps talking on the phone. I could hear most of the conversation from my living room. I lived on the 1st floor facing the parking lot and people threw trash onto my patio. On more than one occasion I found long chunks of hair and braids on the walkway outside my door and on my patio railing. My upstairs neighbors must have done their own haircuts. I woke more than once in the middle of the night to see police either in the parking lot or right outside my front door. And 2 weeks after I moved in (about 4 days after 9/11/01), the FBI came looking for the Arabics that used to live in my apartment. Other than that, the place was great!
