It was a "non-emergency" . . . it's an emergency now !! "A no response" from management mushroomed a simple water leak that could have been stopped easily, into a mildew ridden bedroom.
The initial call was made by tenant to management on Thursday. After multiple tenant phone calls, and 3 days of the disabled tenant's mopping and subsequent back injury, a SECOND after-hours emergency call got a response. The water switch was simply turned off by maintenance and the clean-up began. The carpet cleaner sucked up the water and left an industrial fan blowing to dry the soaked carpet and padding. ON TUESDAY NEXT (after 3 days with no follow-up from management), tenant called management to update the situation, describing the musty and mildew smell and water-damaged property that was apparent. Management stated they would take care of it by calling the water suckers again. ON MONDAY NEXT (six days later}, tenant has heard nothing from anybody and can not go into the room without gagging. WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE''
