I moved into Summer Lake during the summer of 2003 right after I graduated from college. The complex was okay, but nothing to go rushing to.
The closer you are to the front of the complex the better you are from crime. Maintenace did get better over the year that I was there. They would come and fix your apartment, but don't hold your breath.
The office staff kept changing, so I never seen the same person twice. Overall its a fair nice place to live, but I don't see it as a long term residence.
