I live at Summer Lakes 2 and let me tell you,this apartment complex is excellant!
The staff and the Manager runs it like no other complex I have ever lived in. They are always keeping the property clean. Yes, people there are Rules and Regualtion but that is every where especially in a apartment community. It is those residents that do not like to obey and gets notices of vioaltion that always has something nasty to say about where they live. Julmas if you are so unhappy where you live why haven't you moved out yet!!!!!. Curfew, yes in deed Summer Lakes has one for the minor children. I see it as them caring for the safety of the children. Why would you have your kids out and about playing in the late hours' Those are the parents that don't care of the well being of the children! Unfortunately, the spanish residents have a bad habit of being very loud. I feel it is very inconsiderate of those that talk on cell phone late hours to where I hear the all their conversations. Those residents that like to hang out in the parking lot drinking, come on! be realistic, would you really want to live in a place like that or in a place where all rules and regulation are inforced. Obviously, your are not living in the write place for you to make such comments. I recommend the Hud projects because this is in deed where you need to live. About her son going to Wal-Mart to skate. All I have to say is get a life!!!!!! No one knows what is going on in anyones life for such a stupid comment as that. Worry about yourslef in getting your act together. It is obvious that you have a personal problem with the manager!

I live at this complex and I moved in last year. this is a living nightmare!!! the management is very rude cops are here all the time for fights, the complex is dirty trash everywhere half of the complex is condemed. your mailbox is always getting broke into. you have to wait forever for something to get fixed and when they do fix it it's still broke. the roaches are out of control they hired a bootleg man that comes around and sprays some water like substance that doesnt work its just horrible i cant wait to get out of this nightmare . if you like drugs crime and violence this comples is for you..

Being up close and personal with this complex I can say it isn't worth moving into. The person who had the great responses does NOT have any knowledge of this one for sure. It's not only that children can't go out and play in the evening when during summer hours are so much cooler and the kids would only play right outside their own doors. It's not only the children who have to go elsewhere to skate. Some of the rules here are very outragious and border on ------ ways. I can understand management wanting to get rid of the bad apples but not at the expense of the good apples happiness. The property may get cleaned every morning but that doesn't mean it stays that way. Even though there are other aminities that doesn't mean that any of them are open to the residents who pay their rent each and every month. There are major concerns on repairs and construction which is being placed on back burners to occupied units. The staff isn't to blaim though.. the OWNER of the property is for being a tightwad and not spending the funds needed to make this place a really nice place to call HOME

Your smoking some real good stuff If you liked this place, hell you have a few spots to go to as most in the complex are high on something. Forestbrook right behind makes this place a nightmare as there is a way in and out by foot without a road. THis place is closer to hell than anywhere else i'd ever been!!!
