It was the worst place I ever lived, called Villages of Buena Vista

I lived here for two and a half years and I must say, it was ok when I first moved in.
They seemed to be trying to renovate the property and did so...
but the management changed every 4 months, there was always new staff in there.
Also, make sure you keep up with how you pay rent, cause they do not keep accurate records.
The neighborhood wasn't the cleanest looking place...
I moved out when the roaches became unbearable...
I tried everything to get rid of them, and even had the maintenance staff (who also changed every 4 months or so) to fix the problem...
I couldn't take it.
The only reason I moved there is because I never noticed the bugs til a few months after I moved in, and I was separating from my ex-husband.
I tried to call the owners in VA to get a solution, but they brushed me off, and didn't do any real help.
So DO NOT MOVE TO BUENA VISTA!!!!! If you can, go elsewhere, trust me, you won't regret it.

i live here for three years and the roaches are every where and the more you try to get rid of them the more they grow.Also raw sewage comes in and the carpet is always wet the roaches are so bad they knocked my phone off.The water is all the way up to my bed and they dont fix anything the apartment that i am in needs to be condemed.I pay my rent on time every month on time and they still messed up my file and they ended up paying me money.What ever you do PLEASE-STAY-AWAY-FROM-HEAR!!!!!!!

I lived at The Buena Vista (formerly known as Summer lake Apartments) from 2003-2004. It was OK in the beginning then we were hit by flooding in the apartment due to busted pipe and we had no water the whole weekend due to fire department having to shutoff rushing water so my kids got sick due to the cold damp water. then we were infested with termites on a daily basis. Complained to management...did nothing. So we broke lease and found another place.
