I've lived in Tanglewood for almost 2 years. I have had serious problems with roaches, the plumbing, and also my heating system. The sewerage drain backed up one even and my tub and toilet both became clogged to the point that they overflowed and ran onto my rugs in the master bedroom, living room wall closest to the bathrooms, and hallway. Tanglewood would only replace two spaces so I had to choose which rooms I wanted my carpet replaced in which was strange because I pay my rent on time. So the carpet in my bedroom is the old dingy carpeting that sewerage was on. Meanwhile I have acute asthma and allergies.
Since then my son whom is 2 years old stays sick. I have mold all around my bathtub it's caked on so strong it doesnt matter what household product you try to use it doesnt come off. The roaches are more than abundant. I had a problem with my water heater leaking and it took them almost 8 months to replace it. Since I've lived there we've gone through 3 rent ladies and each one is more worthless than the other.
Like all neighborhoods you have to be able to be cordial with the neighbors but not let them know too much. Oh I've heard strong rumors re: the ice cream man he has a truck and was rumored that he was in and out of my neighbors house with her 13 year old daughter while she wasn't home. The ice cream truck man has a lot of disagreements with the neighbors in Tanglewood so if you are moving there beware of him also.
