I recently called The Fairington Apartments at the suggestion of a co-worker. Being new to town, I had no idea where to look. A sweet voice answered. She introduced herself as Angela. I was in a hurry and asked for a quick rate check on a 2 bedroom apartment. I was living in a hotel and needed something right away. She was very knowledgable and had all the answers to my questions without skipping a beat. She told me all about the community and apartments, amenties, shopping in the area etc. She also suggested I stop by and view a couple "sister" properties. I was ready to move there just because with such great customer service, I couldnt go wrong. That night I drove by the apartments. They were very nice looking on the outside and the price was well below what I was expecting for the area but they were a little older that I wanted. I was decided to look into a brand new community, something with granite counters, black appliances and crown molding. With my wife moving down in two months, I knew she would prefer that. The next day, I called Angela back to let her know my decision and to thank her being so helpful. To my suprize, she was still very kind and told me of a few communites close by that were just a few years old and very affordable. She looked up the phone numbers and gave me contact names to 4 differant communities. I told her I would be sure and mention her name so she would get a bonus. Angela explained she was not eligible for a bonus if it was a competitors community. I asked her why did she spent so much time helping me when she wasnt going to get anything for it for her time. She answered, that her reward was giving me excellent customer service and knowing that may help in finding my perfect home. She also stated that she would appreciate if I heard of anyone looking to please send them her way. I will do that and I will never forget my first great encounter in Charlotte. I had to let people about my wonderful experience. I just hope the community I am moving into has staff members was personable and kind as Angela.

Sadly, Angela got fired. She was very good at her job and extremely helpfuland compassionate. The residents here liked her more than anyone else in the office and I think the manager Rachel Duffey was jeolous of her, so she fired her. Now there is Tanya who is a ditsy blonde head case with no customer service skills and seems to miss a lot of work since you randomly see her in the office.
It is sad that Angela is gone and Rachel still has a job there when she is the one who should be fired.
