So glad we didn't move there!

We have had an apartment lined up for January 6th since October. On December 19th, the current tenants decided they wanted to stay. Apparently the office has a policy that says the tenants already on premises have priority in that situation - even though an intent to vacate notice was signed and we were promised that apartment. We lost our apartment and there are no other availabilities for Jan. 6th that would accomodate us. We were stuck with 2 weekends to find a place to live (my roommate is currently living and working out of town). They will not give us back our $60 in application fees because of another one of their policies that says they are non-refundable no matter what! We would not have applied had they told us that apartment was not going to be available! I'm glad we are not going to be living there, I just want my money back! I believe the two good reviews had to be lies also! Do not apply for an apartment unless it is currently vacant! Even then, watch out, apparently this place is awful!
