i have never had HUGE problems. these people run a business, not a congregation. they do what they can to support their tenants. i have NEVER had a maint. request take more than 1/2 hour. i have never had any serious issues with any appliance. in fact, when i did have a problem with my oven, they came IMMEDIATELY and installed a new one - no questions asked. all of my calls have been answered promptly. all of my requests have been filled - down to them talking to the upstairs neighbors about walking too hard. the women in the front are fine. one is a little condescending, but when you ask for the "important" staff, you are always greeted friendly and in a very professional manner. i have actually felt like one of the women has treated me like her daughter more than her tenant.
i went from living in a very trendy, artsy area of uptown to moving here due to my employment. this is not uptown, but it is by far the BEST place for the price and location (and believe me, i looked hard). we all know that apartments are temporary for the most of us; take in stride the nuances. the bottom line is that these people run a business - you have to show them respect in order to get it back. they work for you, but if you treat them like dirt, who says they need to please you'
it's disappointing to see so many negative responses. those of us who have had phenomenal experiences need to get on here more.

I'm so glad to hear that someone hasn't had too many problems but as you can read many people do. When you see multiple things occurring, its not just a coincidence... The maintenance staff is prompt, but when they are given old appliances and units that need replaced they just send the staff rather than calling a professional. That is the problem! My A/C has gone out 4 times in 11 months and a no heat call (where they had to take a part from the model unit to get mine going because they didn’t have any of the parts) The problem isn’t the staff, it’s that they aren’t willing to replace old, inefficient units that run up your electric bill.
The office must have hired a new manager because I just spoke with her and she was very nice especially when I told her my A/C does work and they over quoted me for the last month’s prorate. Glad you have had a good experience, but I’m can’t wait to move out!
