I rented an apartment for 4 months,it was close to my job and cheap but the wall in the bedroom leaked and there was black mold on the wall and the room was musky smell. I no longer slept in that bedroom (lucky to have 2 rooms)and I felt it was a health risk. I was really glad to get out and do believe the apartments need to be torn down. The city needs to perform an inspection, ensuring everyone's health is not at risk. I have been gone for 2 months, haven't heard anything from the rental company nor received my deposit back (apt left better than when I moved into it). Cheap but not a healthy environment to live in.
