The Highlands

I am not the type of person to go online to write a review of a place. However, after living in the Highlands for a year, I cannot help but write about how displeased I am with this apartment complex. The management here is AWEFUL!!!! they DO NOT care about their tennants. They will do all they can to charge you up!!!!! The things they promise in their lease agreement are NOT TRUE. It is a gated community.. HOWEVER, the GATES HAVE NOT WORKED IN OVER 8 MONTHS. There were a few days when the gates would work, but for the vast majority of time, the gates have not worked at all. They shut their pool down and do not let their residents use it during late summer days (even though it is hot outside). THeir have been MULTIPLE BREAK INS. They come in through the garages and are able to just drive on out. WHY??? BECAUSE THE GATES DONT WORK!!!!!!!!! Additionally, it may look nice when you drive to the apartments, but take a closer look once you get in... look at the trees and the wood chips that surround the trees around the main office building. YOU WON'T SEE ANY WOODCHIPS OR AESTHETICALLY PLEASING arrangements around the rest of the complex. Poor landscaping and appearance. Their are stray cats EVERYWHERE!!!!!!! It is a dirty apartment complex that is not taken care of. But they will find any way they can to charge you up. YOU HAVE BEEN FOREWARNED: DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
