I am moving to Charlotte in 3 months and this past weekend I came to look at the lodge amongst several other apartment complexes. The locator service that referred me also gave me this website so of course I read the reviews after visiting my top choices. I have not made moved to the lodge yet, but when my job transfers me to Charlotte, I have already made up my mind that I will be moving there. My experience Saturday afternoon was very pleasant. I was greeted by a very pretty and friendly girl when I walked into the clubhouse. She was eager to show me a model apartment and she offered me coffee and popcorn before the tour even began. Most places I went to on Saturday afternoon seemed to rush me in and out and appeared to busy to show me anything. It was very pleasant experience overall. My only concern is that the area in general may be somewhat unsafe, just from reading the reviews on here. I'm assuming, however, that crime is prevolent everywhere in a large city such as Charlotte. The property is awesome, the apartments are big and everything was very clean and also affordable. This is definetly my choice when I move to Charlotte.
