I lived at the Lodge for almost two years. I decided not to renew my lease due to my and my boyfriend's concern for our safety. There have been numerous car break-ins; a girl (in my building) - her car was stolen not once, but twice; another one of my neighbors (same building) was even held at gun point. Suspicious cars and people stroll through the complex at their leisure. The complex hired security because the crime escalated -- we saw the security guards for about three weeks and that was it. Crime hasn't improved. I fear for my safety every single time I have to leave my apartment. I don't even feel safe IN my apartment.

The office staff are very nice -- namely, Mari. I don't know enough about the others to say anything about them.. same goes for maintenance.

Like another resident, my kitchen floor fell apart. Someone came to fix it, but I guess they didn't do a very good job since the tiles are still coming up.

The floors and walls are so thin, you can easily hear your neighbors. I can hear my upstairs neighbors' EVERY move. I pity the people who move into my apartment!

Parking isn't exactly the greatest either. Some of the other residents tell you to 'just rent a garage' but they're so expensive ($100/month).

Other than that, I would definitely not recommend The Lodge. Yes, the people in the office are nice, but it's not a safe place to live.

I agree--I think management needs to act fast or I will be looking someplace else come contract time! There are 2 kinds of places to rent--safe and non safe--this place is sliding down hill really fast!!

If this actually happened, you didn't report it to the police, because it's not in their records.
