I lived at the Oaks for a year, and left disappointed. First off, the apartent was a mess when we moved in, no one had cleaned the kitchen or bathrooms from the past tenants. There was a hole in the back of a cabinet that someone has just placed a piece of wood over it so we wouldn't see it on the initial walk through. The gates in front hardly ever work...I'm talking, once every 3 months they would work, but only for a few days before they broke again. A rash of car break ins went on for 4 months, one guy reported a motorcycle stolen, my buddies trailer was broken into, and then a month later someone slashed the back window of his jeep and stole everything inside. Management relied on some off duty cop (who lives there) to patrol the complpex...but you never see him, that's the only source of security there. Our dishwasher broke and we called management, a week later a maintenance man showed up and accused us of putting dish soap in it instead of dishwashing detergent, how stupid would you have to be to do that anyway' Regardless, he never did fix it, nor did anyone else after several attempts. Once moving out, the company that owns the complex tried to charge me a cleaning fee for a unit that was much more clean when we left than when we arrived. My advice, stay away, no matter how nice the office girls seem, or how nice the pool area looks. The place and the neighbors are in the same catagory: Trash. vWhRVi5nYYIuEh4W7K3l
