The Oaks

 

I have lived here for 1 year.

They are now under new management and it seems to be ok.

The property looks great all the time.

Like anything, with new management comes changes.

The staff seems to be very upbeat and helpful.

They recently had a community watch program and they now have 2 on-site courtesy officer's as well as a patrolling company that drives through every night 4-5 times.

I went online to CMPD.org and did some research on this area as to crime activity and suprisingly The Oaks had the some of the fewest # of incidents.

They finally fixed the stupid gate that seemed to be broken 90% of the time.

They seem to have finally gotten it right.

They recently installed pet stations and sent notices out to everyone regarding the fine's they would pay if not done.

This is awesome! I don't have a pet and I sure as heck don't want to step in any of the poo.

Maintenance staff is ok, seems to be getting a little better for the most part.

They are renovating the apartments and I was told that it is only a $60 increase above the market rate which isn't bad once you have seen their model.

It is a lot nicer than I thought it would be.

You can even upgrade the current apartment you are in and choose what you want if you don't want it all.

Overall, compared to some of the other places, this place is nice.
