Simply put, a nice place to live.

Overall, the Overlook apartments served me well during my first year away from home while I was in college.
Best things about the Overlook:
- There is no shortage of greenery surrounding the apartment buildings. The place is full of trees, shrubbery, and flowering plants. Maintenance does a great job in the upkeep of the grounds.
- Although you can here your neighbors if you listen hard enough, I generally had no problem with excessive noise.
- The pool area (although often closed during my last few months staying there) is a great place to hang out. Furnished with a grill, tables, and plenty of places to chill.
- The refurbished apartments have a very clean aesthetic and a efficient layout.
Worst things about the Overlook:
- Many cars were broken into during my stay at the Overlook. It took quite a few break-ins before the management team started working with the police.
- The management team was often slow and fussy. There is a lot of bureaucracy involved with the most simple procedures of renting with them.
- The maintenance team, although friendly, is severely under staffed and slow. The problem wasn't a matter of fixing it right in the first place, but merely ever getting around to fixing it at all.
- It's a pricey place to live considering some of the negatives about the place. Apartments of the same calibur across the street lowered their prices to compete with the Overlook, and won.
- The tennis court is esentially a paved collection area for rainwater, mosquitos, and mildew. It is locked all the time and is still listed as an aminity. Same goes for the car cleaning area.
