This was the first place I found when I relocated to Charlotte from Cary. This place is a ghetto. Charlotte in general is a slum, but this apartment complex is trashy. They didn't have an open pool, they didn't even have a gym. The carpets were dirty looking, even after they were "cleaned".

Just horrible.

agreed charlotte is a slum. i guess people who come from smaller towns such as you and i have, realize this isn't the normal way to live, but for whatever reason being, we've had to locate to charlotte, or will be locating to charlotte soon.

Cary is the armpit of the triad region. The apartment mentioned "The Regency" is located in an extremely nice middle class neighborhood called Cotswold. Anyone that thinks this area of Charlotte is a slum has perspective problems or was raised on the UPPER eastside NYC.
