ARE WE TALKING ABOUT THE SAME REGENCY!?!?!?!?!

I am not quite sure what planet the person who wrote the previous comment is from! Are you kidding me!? The Regency is like no place else I have ever lived! It is so peaceful and quite, beautiful trees and nature. I have bird feeders and a bird bath set up behind my building and I often sit on my patio and enjoy the sounds of birds chirping and nature. This Saturday there was an open house, were I was able to look at the model apartment and enjoy a wonderful meal and company. I chose several upgrades for my home- including new black appliances. Maintenance has always been remarkable! They almost always respond with in the same day that I call. The office staff is great. They are always friendly and helpful. My co-worker also just leased and is moving in next month! I couldn't imagine living any where else. It's so close to everything- Cotswold shopping center has everything from A-Z! The new management seems to be working hard to uphold The Regency s reputation. The grounds are well kept. My apartment is nice and big. The pool is gorgeous, as always. I feel that the previous comments are misleading and untrue. Have a look for yourself! If you are thinking of moving to The Regency- it would be the best choice you could make. I'm sure you will love calling The Regency home for many years to come, as I have and will. I don't understand- if The Regency is as awful as the people who posted the previous comment claim...Why are they still living here? One bad apple can spoil the bunch- but not here! Move if it is so bad! All of my neighbors would agree that The Regency is as wonderful as it has always been!!!

This posting is bulls$%t - you got your past tense mixed up with future tense and that tells me you are probably lying/ making this up! if you have been an 8 year tenant why refer to this as your "NEW" home - And If it is your "NEW" home how come you sate " Maintenance has always been remarkable!" MAKE UP YOUR MIND! is it your NEW home or have you actually been there long enough to ALWAYS call our maintenace crew (i.e. dumb and dumber) and actualy have them show up within a week and do the job correctly??? This posting stinks of soemone asscoiated with the management firm of Drucker & fuk or the new owners. Or is this the newest manager trying to overcome the 15 bad reviews.

Evidently this tenant was not here AT THE REGENCY back when Theresa & Leslie ran the place and Shawn & Rick were the mantenance guys. That was the pinnacle of efficiency and friendly, cooperative, bend over backwards for you managers. The like's of we haven't seen in quite some time - Rick & Shawn cleaned the pool every day - winter, spring, summer or fall. No matter what, the trashcans at the pool were emptied all the time so they didn't smell up the place. And when you needed something fixed it was fixed RIGHT and right away, the correct way!

I cannot hold my tongue any longer. Let me get this straight Charlottesfinest-you have lived at the Regency from 2000-2008. You go on to say a bunch of crap about choosing "new appliances for your new home" Which is it Ms. New Manager? ****update LOGGED IN AGAIN AFTER MY POST AND CHANGED HER ENTIRE REVIEW TO PRESENT TENSE ****Since you've been there so long do you remember the armed robbery of a couple in the parking lot near building 4837 last year? I guess those birds were churping just a little to loud for you to hear the urban decay that is infiltrating my once beloved home. Why are the lights in the parking lot no longer on??? They were great for safety and made women at night feel more secure. Why are they so dimly lit?
As far as the landscaping-What landscaping and nature?? The lawn service has killed all the grass. The regency was once a wonderful place. The New management is ridiculous. Except for Jill I have not had a pleasant experience since Teresa and Leslie were there. I haven't moved because I am under a year lease and I hope the new management will do something........

This is a JOKE....I agree, who from the New Management wrote this poorly written comment, this is a terrible place to live, I am scared at night, have been approached by strangers, have had someone standing outside my window, reported someone entering an empty apartment, no response from mgmt. I hope these comments and some of the current tennants contactin the Charlotte Housing authority or whomever needs to be contactes is contacted. Also if anyone that lives here knows who someone can contact to get some legal help with dealing with the Management and the lack of care for the residents please post

Is this person for real????? The Regency is an expensive trash dump. Do not move there. I mean, so called "upgraded" apartments that have nice appliances in which your rent increases if you'd like to have them, yet BIG "waterbugs" are everywhere. I knew I had to move when one night I was sleeping and felt something crawl near my leg and I jumped up, threw the covers back just in time to see a LARGE waterbug run across my sheets. I could not sleep for the rest of the night. I kept my apartment basically spotless, and still those nasty, as big as rodents, bugs were there. I'm sorry, but ummm NO. If you move there and find the same thing, don't say people did not try to tell you.

Thanks for letting everyone know how awesome Theresa, Shawn, Rick and the rest were and how much you all enjoyed your stay. I was their Regional Manager and am glad to hear we helped to make your home one that you were proud of. My suggestion would be to go to the new management Regional Manager or Vice President and address your concerns about what is going on now with what you feel a solution to the problem would be and then give them time to correct the situation. Thanks again.
