Numerous things wrong at this place.
#1 Place is turning into a dump- for that last 2 months of my lease here I was fortunate enough to be able to look at a huge pile of roof shingles in the parking lot. Really added beuaty to the place. It did help with directions though. How do you get to your place' Just look for the big pile of roofing materials that has been there for 2 months.
#2 Did not receive deposit back due to pet stains. The dog is 5 years old not a puppy and is only 13 lbs. Honestly. No stains were on carpet when I moved out but I guess they have to try and f__ you over some how since you are moving out and how dare you do that. what is the pet deposit for!!
#3 Management changes once every 3 months. No need to learn any names b/c in 3 months they will be gone. Last lady they had in there was an absolute idiot. Of course she got fired but I was told by another employee there to watch out for what she tells you b/c she lies. Sounds like a good working relationship doesn't it.
#4 2brm 2 bath apartment rents for 900-1000 depending on what appliances and countertops you want. You can go right around the corner to another complex and pay 915/month for a 2 bed 2.5 bath townhouse with a deck and 500 more square footage. That is much nicer and kept up. You do the math.
#5 This place just is not worth it. Apartments are ages old. Management sucks and to anyone looking to rent a place here I would propose that you just flush your money down the toliet b/c it is pretty comprable to paying rent at this place.
Oh and I lived below what I thought was a heard of buffaloe. I know that I'm in the clear but the next people that stay in that unit at some point you will get to know your upstair neighbors real good b/c they will probably fall through your ceiling. Nothing like moving furniture around as load as possible at 2-3 in the morning. I stay up late but what in the hell are you doing up there!!!

I agree with the original post. I don't think these places are going to get any better. They suck big time. I don't care how many upgrade they do people can get more for thier money somewhere different. I had great neighbors there some that I still come to visit but I am sorry that isn't enough to make me want to come back. Everytime I come there I get depressed looking at all the filth laying around in the parking lot, I don't see how the tenants can take it. And Jill is not wonderful, that lady has a serious attitude problem.

The Regency has been going through some extremely rough/tough times over the last 18 months. I agree with this renter on most of these points. BUT - the place around the corner the Randolph Park Apartments (DUMP) doesn't even begin to compare to the Regency - even though the Regency is at a low point right now, things are looking up. We have a NEW manager Jill (who is wonderful!), new assistant manager Kevin and new maintenance personel as of 2 weeks ago. They are a great team and I am willing to give them a fair chance (6-9 months) TO GET THIS PLACE STRAIGHTENED OUT!. This place did not fall from grace overnight and it can't be fixed instantly either. I love the REGENCY, the complex, the location is great and my neighbors/freinds are wonderful. Get into an apartment NOW and watch the place get better and better, the only way things can go is UP! In a year you won't be able to find a vacancy here - just like a few years ago! We are staying to watch this place transfrom back to it's wonderful standing in the Cotswold community. By the way COMPARABLE apartments (not randolph park) 1 mile away go for $1295/ per month for 2 bed/ 2 bath. Sounds like this person is just pissed off and sour, it has been tough around here for the tenants over the last 2-3 years with the ownership change and revolving door management! The RESPONDER from 08-08 doesn't even live here anymore and needs to get on with their lives. The only time I have EVER seen Jill get an attitude is with tenants that ACT like they run the world, come in bitching and complaining, treating others rudely - None of which is the way to handle a problem maturely and get things resolved.

I agree with the original post. I don't think these places are going to get any better. They suck big time. I don't care how many upgrades they do...(oops!! they make you pay for) people can get more for thier money somewhere different. and as far as the cost....it is a hoot!!! Some folks are paying 840 for upgraded apts, and some are paying 900-1000 for old apartments, and as far as giving them a fair chance...fine,but what about being fair with the residents and giving them a discount/refund for their troubles, how about going thru the books and making sure the rent is fairly priced..oh that's right this in NC, the deep south, they can pretty much do what they want when they want to whom they want!!! What they need to do is realize that with this form of media, we should get together and report to the powers that be, they are able to demand the rental history, records and compare apartment size/rent/upgrades etc. They are Lazy, Rude and sinc when has it been the responsibility for the person paying to be patient?? what if your new Jag, had a tire that was missing, would u b willing to wait? or if your Meal came with out the Entree and they charged you full price and said give us about 6 months, we will have it right by then .....but until then come in every week, we will charge you for the meal,(full Price) and continue to give u excuses ....what are you a whimp--hunterj, or one of the employees or Jill herself making this response....????
