Now Gables Management! From: Howard1803@yahoo.com Date posted: 8/20/2003 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2003   My wife and I are relocating from Ohio. This (formerly Archstone) property is now managed by Gables Mgmt. Everyone is new, nice and unfamiliar with Charlotte, NC. We liked the area and the apartment layout. It is just like the internet site layouts. We did notice that the model suites and the suites shown were not move in clean/ready. They definately needed to improve on that... Also, there are no lock on the door knobs... Only deadbolt locks. The water is paid for by U and there are no meters to manage your usage. Overall, this was our second choice and even at night everything was okay! Notes: The community is quite diverse. Most res. are regular working class people. The large acreage allows for a lot of room for children to run and play. The clubhouse needs work in the mens/womens restrooms, the mens urinals were constantly overflowing when we were there... The property is clean and neat, but there are some dark corners that you could get lost in at night... And watch the fire ant mounds!
