The Timbers is a nice place to live. I have been a resident for a long time and appreciate the charm of an old estate. It is so easy to get downtown, Southpark, The University area and so many other places too numerious to mention here. The apartments are very affordable and I can be downtown in just 8 to 10 minutes. I have found the office staff to be very warm and helpful and the maintienence staff always willing to respond quickly. I appreciate the gates and the onsite security. The eastside of Charlotte has a stigma but trust me, The Timbers is an exception and a lot nicer than you might imagine.
