I've lived here for two and a half years and am now looking to move, because I think the neighborhood is going downhill with people milling in the parking lot at all hours of the night, and running around with their underpants showing. the other day I went to do my laundry and someone's peed in the corner of the laundryroom. yuck. also, do not walk on the street outside of the apartment complex - people will stop and catcall in the absolute rudest manner.
The floorplans are really nice, and the rent is reasonable. Pet policies are not necessarily enforced. Under new management, it might take a bit longer to get things repaired, but the office staff is very nice. Overall, I don't want to live here, because I don't feel as safe as a single woman as I would like to, but if you have someone to live with and you're just moving to the area, this is probably not a bad place to start. Location to downtown and UNCC is only about 5 miles, which is nice.
