The reason I decided to write this review is because when we moved to Charlotte and picked Traditions, it was solely based on the ratings in this website. I am sure there are many like me who would want an honest opinion.

I along with my family moved in about 2 months back and the best thing we like about Traditions is or rather "are" the girls in the leasing office. They are simply great and always have a smile on their face. And trust me, the smile remains even after 2 months.:)

Coming to the apartment, the appliances are very good, everything looks clean and and sound from neighbours has not really been a problem. Mind you, they normally do not have a microwave or fan. ANother thing that I feel it should have is an alarm system that normally some of the other apartments in the area have. Maintenance calls are promt and are 24*7.

The neighbourhood is convenient with a CVS, Walgreen, Harris Teeter (grocery etc) and Food Lion (grocery) just next door. There is also a dental clinic as well as a family practice clinic within 0.5 miles of the apartment. For families with kids like us, there are a few paeditrician options nearby too (within 3 miles).

The apartment complex is 5 mins drive from Wachovia CIC. For people travelling to uptown (same as downtown), you can either walk to the Mallard Creek crossing (5mins walk) to take the express bus or drive to the Park and Ride, park your car (5 mins drive) and take the bus. A drive to uptown is about 15-20 mins with no traffic.

Before ending, I should write about safety too which is a big concern in Charlotte and specially in the northern side. Traditions is comparatively much much safer (you can check the police records too) and to be honest, I have not heard of anything bad here. It probably is a little expensive compared to some of the other apartments but I think it is worth it.

Till date, our stay has been enjoyable and we hope to enjoy the rest of our lease term here at Traditions. SROlYjGrgm2VnM-SactV

Obviously you do not drive downtown as taking the interstate or side roads is clogged with traffic unless you leave at 6:30 in the am then it is only 1/2 clogged. And a smile at the office is great but I'd rather have good service and people who care with a frown than no service and a smile. If it is so great then why would you want an alarm system?

Avishek, not to detract from your experience, but it is YOUR experience. So that makes it YOUR truth. Just as other people's experiences at the property are THEIR own and therefore THEIR truth. Just because you have not "heard" of anything bad at the property does not mean there IS nothing bad going on here. How often do you get out and talk to your neighbors? Better yet, are you able to read between the lines of the few "security notices" we get? Like the 3-pg one that was left at all units in the past week or so? Could you pls tell us how to "check the police records"? Do you have a website to share?
