I like traditions a lot. Its the best community in Charlotte i ever lived.
Nice management and good friendly people. I never had any problems there.
Whatever problems we had were fixed immediately. I will be moving out from Charlotte soon and will miss traditions a lot. I recommend it to everyone relocating to Charlotte. It is one of the best apartment community in Charlotte.

Obviously you are used to substandard conditions if you thought this was paradise. You haven't been here long the first few months i was here it was nice but then it went down hill fast.

Can you elaborate on your "down hill fast" comment? What issues contributed to this rapid decline?
Also, would you care to explain how making disparaging remarks about what Deepi is "used to" contributes to constructive feed back on the condition of the complex or adds any credence to your opinion about the complex overall?

Hey pixie chick - want info? Here you go.
No courtesy officer - although advertised even on their voice mail greeting. Now only some sort of rent a cop that spends perhaps 10 minutes (my husband has timed the entry and exit of courtesy officer) and does not get out of car to check behind buildings or inside the clubhouse/pool area for illegal activity and believe me it is there. Residents are afraid of adverse actions to call police. At first move in there was very few moving trucks and lease terms 6, 9, and 12 months. Now there are only 12 months and moving trucks are frequent - once you are in they have you and month to month fees are very high if you want less than 12 months.
No one that I talk to wants to live there anymore. Repairs are hard to come by and then they are patched and not fixed correctly. Cheap countertops in bathroom and kitchen stain easily. Paint used on baseboards is incorrect type and retains dust even though you scrub the baseboards.
No rule enforcements - parties at the pool, gas grilling on decks, garbage bags stack up on some resident porches, use of garages (that people live beside and above) as recreational areas, gym equipment (clang, slams), and auto repair w/loud music (all not allowed in lease terms). Noisy disrepectful neighbors at all hours blaring music from cars/apartments.
Parking is a nightmare as there is not enough spaces and people park all over the place. Management won't assign parking spots and if you have to walk late at night to your apt watch out for the drug dealing and prostitutes hanging by the clubhouse office and mail area after hours. It is not safe. Management also is selective as to whom they tow for illegal parking - some folks are towed and some are repeat offenders that are never towed. Neighbors are easily heard through walls and floors.
Yes, there is always some noise in apt buildings but to hear people having sex above you and children screaming and heavy footsteps is wrong. Management does not want to hear anything - will listen and let go in one ear and out the other. Will be leaving this dump soon for a far better place. Those of you who find it a paradise where did you live before?

well i have lived here for a few years. and there are problems. but problems are evey where. it is up to people to report to police any illegal activity right when they see it, not wait to report to office. police don't take report from 2nd hand info.
i don't know why people think it is up to somebody else to make sure YOU are safe. safety is bottom line UR own responsibility. a grill on a wooden balcony is a violation to be called in to the fire marshall immediately as it sound like a fire code violation.
i have seen tow trucks but since i never park illegal i have never been towed and would not know who has. people having sex is normal sound in any place, maybe even a house if neighbors have open windows. children running is yes annoying at times but that is normal too.
mgmt cannot do anything about thin/thick-ness of apt walls. come on now. LOL
there are some thing here that are bad.
like how do they get their personal flyers in my mailbox? i report to post office because i know they didn't put a stamp on it. and i think it is illegal too.
where is the security patrol? one day there the next is gone. what?
railings in pool are dangerous. one ladder is dented and come away from the wall. railing on steps on one side look rusted and is not attache to the concrete any more. dangerous for children!
if U see prostitues and drug deals please call 911 right away! there is a new police cheif in charlotte who will love to know about this activity!

Not sure where you lived either but sounds of people having sex are NOT normal when you live in apartments. We have lived in apts for 10 years and never heard that before moving here. And other than having a gun that we slept with under our pillow, pepper spray, and a security alarm what can folks do for the outside of their place? We are gone from there now and LOVE the place we are in. Clean, well maintained, well lit, patrolled, and no noise.
