Today was our last day at Tradition after 3 years of stay. We moved because we bought a new home.
Overall it was an excellent place to stay for a family.
Things we liked most:
- Facilities: Outdoor / indoor kids play area, Tennis Court, Gym, events, swimming pool / Jacuzi, Car Wash Area etc.
- Location: Day to day stuff shopping places nearby (Harris Teeter, Walgreen, CVS, Food Lion, Gas station etc.) and couple of miles from I-85 / I-77, nearby bus station
- Office / Maintenance Staff: Excellent poeple. Very polite and supporting. We had a fire instance and the staff helped us great.
- Construction: Far better place than nearby communities
Things I did not like or needs some improvement:
- Security: First 2 years never heard any issue. Since last few months heard few instances. I guess the mgmt is trying their best but in the current situation it's not enough. I am seeing some reviews about drugs and so on. I haven't seen personally anything like that. But surprisingly I don't see any security cameras around such common places (club house, swimming pool, Tennis Court etc). And the most weird part is - almost at the end of the community, there is an open road which is rearly used. I do not understand why this is not covered. This might be the cause of concern as it provides easy access to community for someone having 'bad' interests.
- Rent / Lease Terms: Little higher than other communities, but overall it's worth. Terms - allowed only 12 months. In this market situation, this needs to be little flexible /ease.
