Ghetto Ridge' ITS NOT THAT BAD From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 10/2/2004 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004   I was reading the review titled "Ghettoridge" and I must say that there are lots of things I could agree with this person, and things that I could say that aren't as bad. Yes! I do think the rental office has changed alot (It's too soon to say that its for bad or good)I miss the red headed lady the most. She new what she was doing and always greeted me with a smile. (she's no longer there!)I do admit that I was late on my rent once and the bookeeper (he's no longer there eighter!)was understading with my situation, and he explained to me what my late fee was and court dates and all that stuff. Also there was a hispanic young girl that helped moved in many spanish speaking families (one moved next to me)which helped our community's diversity. The only people that stayed with the new owners is the manager (which never gets involved and never comes out of the office) and a heavy set older lady (half the time doesn't know what she is doing or saying). Well, the new staff could be better, as long as they don't get my account mest up, I guess I'm fine with it. But I sure wish that I could get back that feeling of "home" again. "Gettoridge" is right the work order team do get things done on time. When ever I call a work order in, its always done on the same day or the next. To people moving to Charlotte: Be carefull when thinking about moving to the Eastside of Charlotte. The crime here is getting worse and worse by the minute. That's the only reason I'm planing to move when my lease is up. The schools around here aren't so great and I would heat to see my upcoming preschool daughter attend any school around here! I can't tell movers what to do, but at any apt. complex a person should always investigate the place before moving. Find out about neighbors, security, the rental office staff, and if you have children like I said check out the schools fist. Good Luck Residnt since 04/03
