This is absolutely the WORST place around the university to live. Sure, it's only around $200 for rent but you get what you pay for. Someone in the next building over from me got his apt broken into, got robbed, and beat up beyond recognition. I can't go outside to walk to my car (even during the day) without some crack addict asking me for drugs or trying to hit on me. Cars are vandalized and stolen on a regular basis and nothing is done about it. And don't even bother trying to get anything in your apartment fixed, it will NEVER HAPPEN! I've lived in two different apartments here with two different owners and it's all the same. Last year nothing worked in my bathroom - the toilet, the shower drain, and the faucet were all broken..not to mention the fan poured water all over the bathroom numerous times. NOTHING was ever done, I had to use my roommates' bathroom practically all year.
Students are the minority in University Terrace. Most of the people who live there are illegals and/or on welfare with like 10 people living in their unit. Twice I've been stuck neighboring families of 8-10 where the parents beat their kids everyday and because of the WONDERFUL sound-proofing in the walls I hear it all the time.
I'm happy to say I'm getting the hell out of UT and I'm NEVER looking back.

This is for pubermcballis, zeppchia32 isn't a spoiled brat! I moved in her too and it is horrible! You are probally one of the idoits that live here that make our life hell because you have no F***ing common sense at all! And of course you are having fun. you are cheaply entertained!
