This complex is NOT safe. My neighbor's car got stolen. I was chased by a man coming out of the woods. There is no security. They just put in security cameras...but I wonder if anyone really watches them. The man who bought my apartment, Greg Hoccheiser didn't know what he was doing and came into the apartment every day whenever he wanted. It was really annoying and he screwed me out of my security deposit. Whatever you do, do not rent from him. I wouldn't recommend living anywhere in UT North. The prices are going up, which is stupid, because it doesn't have anything to offer. No pool, no gym, no nothing. It's really loud ALWAYS, no matter how many times you complain. Not even a leasing office...so your concerns don't ever get taken care of.

Don't let the previous person persuade you into thinking this place is horrible. I lived in UT North through my entire college carreer and had no problems at all. I agree that there isn't a leasing office or pool which can be frustrating but that's what you get by renting in a condo and not an apartment complex. If you get a good landlord which mine has been, then things get done immediately. We also had the option to rent from mid August until mid May for the usual rent and then for the other couple of months it was half price...this was awesome because we were able to keep our unit each year and could afford to find new roommates if one or two left for the following school year. Try doing that in an apartment complex! Anyway, UT North is perfect for any college student. Nowhere is completely safe these days which sucks (including on school grounds where cars get broken into etc.)so do what you can to protect yourself. This fall our unit will be open and like I said, my landlord was the best...When our washer broke we had a new one delivered in like 3 days! And, she said that the floors, paint and some of the appliances are being replaced before next semester. The unit was 11005-L (but it changed numbers to 11011-L now). You won't be disappointed. And about the noise-our place was facing the tree line and on the top floor so it was probably the quietest unit I guess.
