I read the reviews and i feel its all over blown. These are decent APT for students on a budget. The security is average. They have installed 40 some security cameras on the roof tops of each APT building. I have lived here for 2 years now and have not had any problems. Yes its true there have been armed robberies here but give me a break . That happens in SOUTH PARK, LAKE NORMAN areas too. In fact i saw on the news a mugging at the south park mall not to long ago. If you are stupid enough to leave expensive stuff in your car, its your fault.
As far as the upkeep of the apt goes. Its all depends on your roommates and the land lord. My APT has all grad students and the land lord is great so we have not had any major issues. Its a 4 bed room 4 bath APT.
If you want some thing bad go check out UT next door. Its older, cheaper and worse.
